Getting Here

Air Travel

Airport Car Service (Taxi/limo): It costs a flat rate of $63.00 one way to get into downtown Halifax.

Airport Express: The Maritime express airport shuttle between Halifax Stanfield International Airport and downtown Halifax. It stops at some of the main hotels and accommodations in Dartmouth and Halifax including our friends at Cambridge Suites and The Westin. It costs $22.00 one way or $40.00 for a round trip. If you are planning to come directly to the conference from your flight, the closest stop is The Lord Nelson Hotel and Suites (just 1 minute walking distance from Park Lane!)

MetroX (public transportation bus): The #320 bus travels from the airport directly to downtown Halifax stopping at Duke and Albemarle Street. From Duke and Albemarle Street it is a 15 minute walk to the Conference venue at Park Lane. It costs $3.50 and runs every 30 minutes during peak hours and every hour the rest of the time.

By Car

Car Rentals: Cars rentals are conveniently located at the lower level of the Airport Parkade. To drive to downtown Halifax, take the NS 102 toward Halifax, Dartmouth. Drive for about 11 km then keep left on NS-118 after about 19 km turn left onto Victoria Road. At Nantucket Avenue turn right and head over the Angus L MacDonald Bridge. There is a $1.00 toll here so have a loonie handy. After the bridge drive until Gottingen Street and make a left onto Rainnie (you will see the Citadel). Turn right onto Brunswick Street and then the next right onto Sackville Street. Take the next left onto Dresden Row and the Conference centre will be on your right hand side.
